Blue Spring State Park
Jacques Cousteau called them “The Forgotten Mermaids” and filmed a documentary about them right here. Catching sight of a manatee is an unforgettable experience and there is no better place for a sighting than right here at Blue Spring, their favorite winter refuge. This past January, a record 311 were recorded. In summer, Blue Spring is a great place for swimming, snorkeling and scuba. Talking Trash
We told you last month about the talking water fountains and trash can at Epcot and challenged you to find them. We also promised we would tell you where they were this month so you could stop by and say hello. The first is just past Spaceship Earth near a shop called Mouse Works. There’s another between the Honey I Shrunk the Audience pavilion and Interventions. near a restroom. The last one can be found near a play fountain between Future World and World Showcase. And the talking trash can is outside of the Electric Umbrella restaurant. Stop by and say hi.
